Our focus on the details

Designer Switches was formed by Glenn Ford.  Glenn is a master electrician and property developer with 30 years' NZ and international experience. 

Its through his experience in working with home owners and developers that Glenn saw the need for switches and sockets that offered design and technology beyond the traditional lackluster options typically available - despite the money and effort that people would put into decorating their homes, the finishing touches were limited only to plastic black and while.

Glenn attends to each consultant and installation personally.

We work with you to help match what you need or would work in your home with the variety of options - from power sockets, to light switches, dimmers, USB charges, etc. 

Part of this is also a bit of a health check on your electrical system to make sure it can accommodate the products

Following the consult, we'll provide you and quote which will include installation (Auckland area only) and products.
